The
Abbott LCx Analyzer brings DNA testing to the
routine clinical laboratory. This analyzer combines
LCR™ technology (amplification of the target
DNA) with the accuracy and reliability of MEIA detection.
Current assays on the LCx Analyzer are: Chlamydia
trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhea (in the United
States, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea tests are marketed
together as Uriprobe).
