Laboratories is proud to introduce the ARCHITECT
family of analyzers.
This
product line will be built on the concept of intelligent
integration. Intelligent Integration is derived from
four fundamental principles. Modularity, Flexibility,
Scalability, and Commonality. Modularity will offer
the ability to combine multiple instruments and technologies
into a single consolidated workstation. Flexibility
will allow the user to integrate different technologies
to lab automation configurations and existing lab information
systems. Scalability will customize instrument solutions
to meet the user's menu and throughput needs. Commonality
will permit the laboratory to share reagents, disposables,
components, and software across a family of immunoassay
instruments.
Together,
these principles will bring the first user-designed
diagnostic systems to the laboratory. The i2000
will be the first system available in the ARCHITECT
family. This system will deliver high quality immunoassays
using chemiluminescence detection technology with flexible
protocols, commonly referred to as Chemiflex.
Each i2000 module will perform up to 200 tests
per hour with up to 25 reagents on-board.
Today,
the user may combine two i2000 modules to make
an i4000 system. The i4000 will allow
the user to perform up to 400 tests per hour with an
on-board reagent capacity of 50 different immunoassays.
